Bibione doesn't offer to ist Guests only a golden beach and a sea with Blue Flag! Indeed, there are more than 30km of cycle paths that allow you to explore Bibione and its surroundings: Bibione’s project “Viva la Bici” proposes 5 differents cyclo excursions, suitable both for the most passionate excursionists and for families with children. The project’s aim is to offer to tourists the chance to know in an alternative way our territory, trying to bring out also Bibione’s environment, culture and traditional gastronomy. The 5 recommended routes are:

WALK AROUND BIBIONE

A nice walk along the cycle path that winds in parallel to the sea, passing through Bibione Pineda’s pinewood, town streets and the many green areas. A soothing and panoramic route for the whole family

THE LIGHTHOUSE AND THE PINEWOOD

Dive into Bibione’s green heart: from the land’s open space you will immerge in the pinewood’s heart cycling until Bibione’s lighthouse, in front of the sea.

“CASONI” AND TERZO BACINO’S COUNTRYSIDE

A timeless route: take your time to taste the lagoon’s relaxing atmosphere, where the Nature is still uncontaminated. If you’ll walk until “Prati Nuovi”, you could admire the famous “Casoni”, local farmers’ houses that were occupied until the ‘50s.

“VALLEVECCHIA” AND “BRUSSA”
This route proposes a visit to Vallevecchia, an interesting area from environmental and faunal point of view, arriving then to Brussa, where the beach is still not equipped. The place is attended from those who are passionate of bird watching, sport fishing, trekking, riding and…cyclotourism.

TAGLIAMENTO RIVER
A route dedicated to those who are bikers, that winds across Tagliamento river. Tracing the river, you’ll have the chance Villanova’s paper mill.
