Measures valid until new provisions
Your summer in Bibione is about to begin and do you still have some questions about the measures connected to Covid-19? Here you will find the answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive from our Guests:
1. Should I need to present the Green Pass to enter the resort?
Access to all accommodation facilities, indoor and outdoor restaurant services will be allowed without exhibiting any type of certification.
Therefore, Green Pass is not required.
Access to resort as a daily visitor, for enjoying the water park or eating at the restaurant is allowed again. An ID card will be withheld at the reception for the entire day. Entrance is upon payment.
2. What should I do to travel to Italy?
The rules for entry into Italy have been updated and simplified. The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has signed a new order extending the provisions for arrivals from foreign countries to 31 May. The only change concerns the Passenger Locator Form, which from 1 May will no longer be necessary.
From 1 May, regardless of the country of entry into Italy, the traveller will be required to present to the carrier and to whoever is in charge of checking the COVID-19 Green Certificate.
Covid-19 green certificates of successful vaccination are accepted in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish or German.
In the absence of a Green Pass or a negative rapid antigen or molecular swab test, respectively within 48 or 72 hours before entry into Italy, the guest must undergo a 5-day quarantine period at the address indicated to the competent authorities and an antigen or molecular test by means of a swab at the end of this quarantine period.
If you are required to present a Covid-Test to re-enter your country you can reserve your test at the Bibione Therme Center.
3. Am I allowed to enter the villaggio’s restaurants, if I don’t have the Green Pass?
Yes, the Green Pass is not required.
4. Do I have to use the mask inside the resort?
From 1 May 2022, the obligation to wear the mask indoors expires. However, the Ministry of Health strongly recommends its use. As we do care about your safety, we will continue to wear it.
What you can do for us
When you are in contact with our employees, at the reception rather than at the bar or restaurant, you could wear a mask: this would help us a lot to protect the health of our staff. The mask is also appreciated when you are near the buffet at the restaurant.
If you have symptoms potentially associated with Covid, wear the FFP2 mask and report it to the reception.
We suggest you to always be equipped with a protective mask in your pocket, so you will always be ready if you need to enter an elevator, for example, or if you are in the midst of many people.
5. Will the pools be running?
Of course, the most beautiful water Park of Bibione awaits you!
Here some new rules to follow:
- the entrance to the tanks and slides will be manned by our staff to regulate the flow and ensure the distances, for the enjoyment and serenity of all guests;
- it is NOT necessary to use a bathingcap!
- during spring time, the tanks of the water park will open gradually, depending on the number of guests in the resort and outside temperature. The tanks open to the public are kept at a temperature ranging from 20°C to 28°C. You will find the list of open tanks in the next paragraph.
Is it possible and safe to swim in the pool? Yes, the chlorine contained in the swimming pool water is constantly monitored. The crowding density in the tank is calculated with an index of 4 sq. of water surface per person.
6. Which services are running?
The openings of the services inside the resort are scheduled with a differentiated calendar. Here is the updated list of services:

7. Will entertainment be operating?
The entertainment team of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale awaits you!
Together with them we have devised and implemented a program to be carried out in complete safety, in full compliance with the rules and social distancing. A new form of entertainment, which looks to the future but starts from the key principles on which the Anima Vera Animation is based: : involvement, activities for young and old and above all, a lot of fun!
Which are the methods of accessing to the activities? All entertainment activities are preferably by reservation and with a limited number, in order to guarantee distance and safety for guests and operators.
The Green Pass is not required to access the animation program. The activities take place outdoors.
Which activities are available?
Labs for children, fitness activities, individual and group sports, evening entertainment.
8. How will be the beach managed?
For describing the use of the beach we have created a special page, you will find all the updated information there.
9. What should I do at my arrival in the resort?
Come to the reception and do the check-in operations as soon as you arrive:
- only one member of the family can enter the Reception
- bring with you the identity documents of all you family, including children (passport, identity card or driving license, the tax code is not valid).
- bring the vehicle’s number plate and a credit card with you to pre-authorize the accommodation.
A couple of days before your arrival you will receive an e-mail to make the ONLINE CHECK-IN, this will allow you to personally scan the documents and enter the necessary data from the confort of your home.
10. How are the restaurants managed?
The Restaurant “Al Villaggio” currently provides an assisted buffet both for those who have booked one of our meal plan (breakfast – half board or full board) and for those who access the restaurant with the à la carte menu. A wonderful buffet awaits you and you can choose from delicious appetizers, first courses based on fish or second courses inspired by both local tradition and international cuisine.
We have taken all possible precautions to allow you to enjoy good food without worries. We will continue to have special attention for food intolerances and we will be able to offer delicious alternatives for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans.
The Restaurant “al Mare” will be ready to welcome you for the lunch and dinner with menu a la carte, pizzeria and for cafeteria service.
The other Resort’s dining points will offer “a la carte” menu with table service.

Taste our specialties in the privacy of your accommodation, the Restaurant “Al Villaggio” have the Take Away & Delivery service too.
With your smartphone you can book your meal comfortably lying under the sun umbrella and then you can decide if you prefer to go at the restaurant for the picking up or if we deliver it to your accommodation.
– this type of service is not compatible with meal packages (breakfast, half board, full board) –
How do I consult the restaurant or bar menu?
The menus will be accessible directly from your smartphone (click here). Near the restaurant and on the tables you will find the QR CODE to be photographed with the smartphone. The menu will appear directly on your phone.
Do I have to wear a mask inside the restaurant?
The mask is not mandatory, but we will appreciate it if you are at the buffet.
Can it be consumed over the counter?
Consumption at the counter is allowed.
Is it possible to reserve a table at the restaurant?
Yes, reservations are strongly recommended, as there cannot be more customers inside the venue than there are seats.
It is possible to add breakfast, half board and full board to your booking in advance calling us or at the reception at the check-in (the service is upon availability).
11. Is the cash payment method allowed?
Yes, it is possible to pay in cash even if electronic payment is favored. We remind you that our cash desks are enabled for contactless payments with bancomat, with Apple Pay / NFC and with credit cards Maestro, MasterCard, CartaSì, Eurocard, Visa, America Express.
The Italian legislation allows payments with cash only for amounts less than € 1.999,95. We don’t accept checks.
You can pay in restaurants and caffeterias inside the resort with your smartphone!
Ask for the activation at the Reception upon your arrival. It’s easy and it’s free.
12. How the VTI Train works
The service that adults and children love so much, the VTI Train is operating.
Until 15 June 2022, passengers must wear the FFP2 mask.
Please, we will need your precious cooperation to respect the flow of people going up and down the train.
You will find the timetable and the route of the train posted at the departure station, right in front of the reception.
13. I would like to make my reservation but still have some doubts?
If you are not sure whether to book or not, we inform you that you have up to 14 days before arrival to do cancell you reservation without loosing your down deposit. We suggest you to read or cancellation policies.
We also offer you the possibility to take out INSURANCE to cover your deposit from any accident, sickness or difficulty.
