How to arrive 

Situated to the extremity east of the Veneto to the border with the Friuli, Bibione is an island connected from a bridge to the mainland on the litoral of the Veneto. The territory, delimited to north and the west from lagoons and fishing -valleys, to east from the Tagliamento river and to south from the Adriatic sea, with a surface of approximately 1.800,00 hectares.

Originally an immense pinewood covered totally the island and winds have favorite forming itself of high dunes of sand, they are still existing in the area of the lighthouse, to the mouth of the Tagliamento river.
